What You'll Find
Lockport Mennonite is a church for all ages from newborns to 98 years young and 150+ people gather to worship on Sunday mornings. Our worship is focused on Jesus and offers a blend of traditional and contemporary styles. You'll find that Lockport has many young families, and lots of children, who provide plenty of energy and laughter in our service and our church.
Who We Are
When we scatter throughout the week we are comprised of farmers and business professionals, teachers and nurses, stay-at-home parents and entrepreneurs, and all levels of industry. We are rooted in Stryker, West Unity, Archbold, Pettisville, Fayette, Wauseon and the surrounding area. We take with us a certain DNA of service on the local and global scale as we seek to be the hands and feet of Christ in all that we do. Join us as we grow and learn to live more like Christ in our communities.
Where to Go
We want to make visiting as comfortable as possible for you and your family. When you enter the church (from any door), greeters will be available to point you in the right direction. Our service starts at 9:20 with prelude, and leads into our time of worship at 9:30. We have a nursery for the little ones, story time during the service for kids, and following worship, a time of fellowship and Sunday School for all ages beginning at 10:30. On the north side of the building is the fellowship hall and youth room for high school age youth. The foyer or breezeway is where we meet between the service and Sunday School - The sanctuary is up the steps when you enter the church, but don't worry there is an elevator that can take you to any level in the church. Downstairs are restrooms, the nursery, children's classrooms, and a place for fellowship. But don't hesitate to ask where to go. Our ushers are more than willing to help you find a seat in the sanctuary, and our greeters are there to make sure you feel comfortable. Welcome! We are glad you chose to visit Lockport Mennonite!
